About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Full Stack Developer to lead the full development lifecycle of our digital products and tools. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role ideal for an independent contributor who thrives in dynamic, agile environments. You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications and operational solutions.

This position involves working across a broad technical stack—from PHP-based backends and JavaScript frontends to managing infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud. You’ll also develop integrations with tools like Google Sheets, oversee MySQL databases, and maintain high operational standards.

As part of a lean, agile-minded team, you will take ownership of planning and executing sprints, managing priorities, and communicating directly with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
  
• Manage and scale infrastructure using AWS and Google Cloud Platform services.
  
• Automate workflows and business processes using Google Apps Script and Google Sheets integrations.
  
• Implement and integrate Generative AI APIs and frameworks to build intelligent features.
  
• Maintain code repositories using GitHub, manage pull requests, and enforce version control best practices.
  
• Handle operational tasks including deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting of production systems.
  
• Lead sprint planning, manage agile boards, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who meets most of the following criteria:

• A degree in a numerical or technical discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  
• 3+ years of full-stack development experience or an equivalent portfolio demonstrating strong skills and ownership.
  
• Proficient in PHP and JavaScript, including modern frameworks and libraries.
  
• Strong command of HTML, CSS, and responsive design best practices.
  
• Solid experience in MySQL database design, optimization, and management.
  
• Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda) and/or Google Cloud tools.
  
• Hands-on experience working with Google Sheets, BigQuery, and third-party API integrations.
  
• Comfortable owning deployments, monitoring production systems, and managing incidents.
  
• Strong understanding of Git, agile methodologies, and the ability to deliver complete features independently.
  
• Exposure to or a strong interest in Generative AI, including LLMs, embeddings, and related technologies.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
  
• Background and knowledge in FMCG retail audit processes is a plus.
